Three Summer Cocktails

Change up your go to beverages!

We all enjoy an adult beverage every now and then, right? Why not do away with the typical sugar-filled mixers? I challenge you to use fresh fruits and natural sweeteners so that you can control the portions. You will know what exactly is in your drink. These are all so very tasty. I highly recommend any of them to sit and sip on during a pool day or while on your porch watching the sun set. I must warn you though, these are a tad strong. You can always add more club soda. Otherwise, be sure to actually sip slowly with these. Enjoy, y'all!

Twisted Tequila Sunrise

5-7 lemon balm leaves

juice from one orange

1oz tequila

1 tsp agave nectar

optional: splash of club soda (after shaking)

In a shaker, add leaves, orange juice, tequila and agave nectar. Stir and add ice. Close shaker and shake well. Pour over fresh ice cubes and top it off with club soda (however much you like).

3 slices of fresh cantaloupe (once strained, it equals about 1 oz)
