About the Recipe
I love sneaking vegetables into a pasta dish (especially in the sauce). You could easily change out these vegetables to others that you prefer. Get creative with it!
Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
1 garlic clove (chopped)
1 yellow squash (chopped)
1 zucchini (chopped)
1 cup fresh spinach (chopped)
1 tomato (chopped)
3-4 fresh basil leaves (chopped)
1 jar of plain marinara sauce
1 lb ground beef
pasta of your choice
Preparation
Step 1
Sauté the olive oil through the basil until cooked mostly through. Then blend all of the vegetables in the blender while gradually adding the marinara. Blend until well combined.
Step 2
Brown the ground beef and drain the excess fat. Pour the sauce all over the ground beef. Serve on top of your favorite pasta!
