Set it and go!
You can make this delicious dish for your family with the least bit of attention. Set this all in your slow cooker when you get home from work and then go do whatever you need to do! Once it's almost ready, prepare a simple salad to go along with it, and you're all done. Feel free to add a protein to this. Leftover shredded chicken would go great with this. If you wish to do so, I would suggest adding the chicken about halfway through to let it soak in all of the flavors while the pasta continues to cook.
Ingredients
1 jar of marinara sauce
2 cups low sodium chicken broth
8oz rigatoni pasta
7oz part skim ricotta cheese
Directions
Step 1
Place all ingredients into a slow cooker and stir until well combined. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes (until pasta is cooked through).
