Banana "Ice Cream"

Your kids will love this!

The simplest of desserts, and it is so satisfying for both adults and kids! My boys were surprised with this treat last night and were asking for seconds before I could even ask how it was. I only had a couple of tastes, but I can definitely say it was delicious! The best part about this dessert is how versatile it is.

I used Chobani Strawberry Greek Yogurt to add some flavor; however, you can use other frozen fruit, such as raspberries or strawberries, to make it thicker and full of flavor. Be aware that the more you blend, the more soupy it becomes. If you simply just want the banana flavor, blend up until it becomes a smooth texture and serve immediately. Otherwise, it freezes nicely. Just let it sit a minute or two before serving.

Banana "Ice Cream"

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas

  • 1/2 cup strawberry Greek yogurt

Instructions

  1. Cut bananas in halves and place in air tight container.

  2. Freeze for an hour or two.

  3. Blend in blender until a thick mixture has formed.

  4. Add Greek yogurt and pulse a few times to mix. If the mixture has loosened up some from all the blending, freeze again until it has hardened back up a bit.
